2021 Poster
The Latah Farmers Market wants you to design our annual farmers market poster!
The poster will be printed and distributed throughout the county to inform people about the market. The winning design may also be printed on market merchandise such as t-shirts and tote bags.
The winning designer will take home $100.00 cash!

contest rules and guidelines
eligibility
Contest is open to amateur and professional artists of all ages. Participants must reside in Latah County or surrounding counties of Clearwater, Benewah, Nez Perce or Whitman. Artists may submit as many designs as they wish.
deadline
All submissions must be received on or before Friday, April 29, 2022. Judging will take place the following week, and a winner will be announced on or before May 9, 2022.
art specifications
Size: 11”x17” (tabloid)
Layout: Portrait or landscape layouts are both acceptable.
Color: Full color may be used
Medium: Any and all 2-dimensional media types are acceptable, including, but not limited to photography, collage, digital graphics, and all traditional 2D media
File type: .pdf, .png, .jpg, .tif files are acceptable. Scans or photographs of the artwork should be submitted at a minimum of 300 dpi.

Subject matter: Graphics should reflect the diverse products found at farmers markets in Latah County and the inland northwest region.

judging
Each submission will be evaluated by a panel of judges for originality, aesthetic appeal, ability to positively promote the market, and adherence to the content guidelines. One winner will be selected by the panel from the qualifying submissions.
award
The top three (3) submissions will be displayed on the Latah Farmers Market website and social media. The winning artist will be announced on the Latah Farmers Market website and social media, and will be awarded a cash prize of $100, as well as one free item of TBD merchandise containing his/her graphic. Full credit will be given to the winning artist for creation of the graphic on all posters and merchandise, but all artwork submitted becomes the property of the Latah Farmers Market.
